Looking Forward...

We've been a bit quiet of late, what with the manic Christmas period and taking a well earned break to Iceland (the country not the supermarket), but we're now back at it and cooking on gas (literally). Looking back at 2017 we didn't quite achieve what we wanted, but we made some headway in moving this little outfit forward. Our plan was to get a steady rolling stock of kegged beers out in the wild by doing a bit of gypsy brewing, but we only managed to get two limited releases out there on the taps. The reason we didn't continue was down to money, basically we lost money on both brews, but at least it was a start and we learnt some valuable lessons moving forward. On a positive note, the two beers, User Friendly and Lemon & Szechuan Saison, were well received, so that's given us a little confidence boost and keep on doing what we like doing. The latter debuted at the Independent Salford Beer Festival, a brilliant event and it was an absolute honour to have our beer poured there, so that was a nice little boost too.

So going forward in the short term...

We're going to continue brewing on our small kit, but we have started to upgrade to slighty bigger fermenters, and make some changes in our tiny brewery, that will allow us to maybe get a few kegs out there along with our usual bottle runs. We've also looked at our previous releases and will start re-brewing some of our most successful beers and get these out there more regularly through out the year. That's not to say there won't be more of those more random beers we love brewing, there will definitely be plenty of those to come!

Going forward long term...

A big part of starting this brewing endeavour was to expand and get more beer out there, especially in keg. That was part of the plan with the gypsy brewing we did last year, as mentioned above, didn't quite work out, but that's not to say we're not going to continue to puruse that route. We've been talking with another brewery who are going to be setting up a brewery space in the local area, and they've kindly invited us to come brew with them when it's all up and running. So things are looking up, we just have to bide our time and continue what we've been doing and have some exciting beers for you!

Cheers to all the people who have supported us  over the last couple of years, it really means the world to us!

Here's to the future!
